Parent and guardian guide

Help a player register and arrive ready while keeping contact, payment, and schedule responsibilities clear.

Help with registration, not duplicate registration

  • Sit with the player while they complete the form; current Portal does not provide a delegated guardian-registration role.
  • Confirm the player name, event choices, dates, and eligibility before submitting.
  • Use a phone or enabled email channel that can receive the verification code immediately.
  • SMS tournament updates are optional and must be selected deliberately on the phone path.
  • If payment is offered, complete the hosted Checkout once and wait for confirmation.
  • If something looks stuck, contact the organizer before starting another registration.

Make event day predictable

  • Re-check venue, parking, check-in time, and event schedule in Portal.
  • Plan arrival around the organizer's check-in deadline, not only the first visible match time.
  • Keep the player's equipment and identity or membership information available.
  • Follow the published schedule after changes; do not treat a saved screenshot as authoritative.
  • Bring score questions to the desk with the exact match details and remain calm while progression is checked.

Respect access and identity boundaries

A private tournament may look unavailable while signed out, even when you have the correct link. Sign in with the authorized account and try again. If access is still denied, ask the organizer to verify membership instead of requesting a public workaround.

Portal does not implement a delegated parent or guardian account relationship. The player should complete a player-page claim; for a minor or an identity question, contact the organizer instead of assuming guardian access exists.
